About the Foundation

The Love for Life Foundation was started in honour of Brenda Green, a special angel whose memory will enrich our lives forever, teaching us about love and life.
To date, 100 percent of every dollar raised will go directly to the Foundation to support its initiatives. The funds raised through the Love for Life Foundation will be used to battle Breast Cancer in two ways. Some of the funds raised will be donated to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation to aid in specific research projects committed to finding a cure so that one day we will know a world without breast cancer.
The other very important beneficiaries of funds are Canadian families living with the disease. While we all fight for a cure, the sad reality is there are many families who will live through the difficulty of fighting the disease. Regardless of the outcome of their battles, we at the Love for Life Foundation want to help improve their quality of life.
Even while fighting the disease, Brenda lived her life to the fullest and was able to enjoy every special moment she had on this earth. We want to spread this same Love for Life too other families. This will be done through such outlets as helping to pay bills so these families can provide the best care and spend as much cherished time with their loved ones; and giving them opportunities to enjoy the special time they have by sending them on vacations or giving them other special days. We will have more information of what we have done to help families in the future.
Initially recipients will be found through referrals from local physicians but the hope is the foundation will grow to help more and more families directly.
Until a cure is found, we are dedicated to honouring Brenda’s memory and love for others by helping those in need and fighting for a cure of this horrible disease.
